Chemistry and Applications of Cyanoximes and Their Metal Complexes

Nikolay Gerasimchuk - Missouri State University

Nikolay Gerasimchuk, professor of chemistry at Missouri State University, studies applications of oxime-bearing ligands and their metal complexes. Specifically, he is interested in a new class of low molecular weight organic molecules called cyanoximes. Many cyanoximes and their metal derivatives have shown significant biological activity ranging from antimicrobial and cytotic, to growth regulation in plants and organophosphorous pesticides detoxifying agents (antidots). Read more from Professor Gerasimchuk's faculty profile.
