Please join us on Monday, Oct 30th, for a seminar highlighting clinicalchemistry (a subspecialty of laboratory medicine).
Dr. Farnsworth and Dr. Lin will be joining us from the WashU Med Campus toshare the different opportunities in clinical chemistry and what the various roles/professions look like. Clinical chemistry is a great career option for Ph.D. chemists looking for an alternative career pathway, particularly those who enjoy academia but aren’t necessarily interested in the traditional R01 route. Clinical chemistry can also help individuals find their careers in academic teaching hospitals as laboratory directors or in industry relating to Medical and Scientific affairs for large corporations such as Roche or Abbott.
