Careers in Chemistry Series

The Chemistry Departments within WashU, UMSL, SIUE, and SLU are hosting the Careers in Chemistry Seminar Series for 2024

This collaborative effort, spearheaded by graduate students across the institutions, aims to serve as a resource for professional development, networking, and collaboration through seminars highlighting distinguished speakers. Each institution has selected one distinguished speaker for the series. The selected speakers are from various areas of chemistry and will share the different opportunities within their respective fields.

WashU Ph.D. Chemistry alum Dr. Justin Sperry (MA 2005, Ph.D. 2008, whose chemistry adviser was Michael L. Gross) was selected as the speaker for the WashU seminar. He will be returning to the Danforth Campus on March 14th to deliver his seminar, titled "Be Read. Be Agil. Be You.  Insight into Careers in Biopharma."
