Recognition Night
Dr. Henry Rohrs, Instrumentation Specialist (NIH NCRR Biomedical Mass Spectrometry Facility), received the 2023 Distinguished Service Award during the ACS Saint Louis Section Recognition Night. This was the first Recognition Night held since the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Dr. Rohrs was recognized for his contributions to the ACS Saint Louis Section, most notably for his long-held role as Secretary of the section and his collaborative efforts with the Midwest Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group. Dr. Rohrs has organized and chaired the Midwest Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group for a decade and has served as the Saint Louis Section secretary from 2017-2020.
Dr. Rohrs has also recently received his WashU milestone awards and was recognized for his 20 years of service to the university.
