I couldn't wait to begin working in Professor Patti's lab as a graduate student. Although my first research experiences were perplexing because my data didn't fit our initial hypothesis, this turned into an amazing opportunity. Through lots of fun discussions with fellow students and group members, I was able to develop my own model to explain the results. Coming to lab every day to get the next piece of the puzzle has been a thrill!
