The Barbara Jakschik Award is given annually by the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences to recognize an outstanding female graduate student in her final year of doctoral research whose thesis has focused on the general area of metabolic regulation. Conghui was selected because of her many past accomplishments and the expectation of her many contributions to science in the future.
