We will cover the crucial physics of the war years: fission and fusion; how and why the natural isotopes of Uranium 235U and 238U differ; how the produced Plutonium isotopes 239Pu and 240Pu are made, and how and why they differ. We will also discuss the German nuclear effort and the Allied Alsos mission.
