Luo works with Dr. Sadtler in the Department of Chemistry and Dr. Mishra in the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science on electrochemical synthesis of semiconducting material, growing toward or away from the metastable phase, and DFT stimulation of material properties, such as defect property and phase stability.
