Macy Sprunger

Macy Sprunger defended her Ph.D. in 2023 in the lab of Meredith Jackrel. Her dissertation is titled “Determinants and dysregulation of Matrin-3 material properties in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.” In 2021, Sprunger was awarded an NIH NRSA Fellowship from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). Sprunger graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2017 with a BS in Biochemistry.
