Tim Wencewicz selected by Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation as one of 13 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholars for 2019.
The Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award recognizes young faculty in the chemical sciences who are outstanding independent researchers and educators. The award includes an unrestricted grant to support Wencewicz's research and teaching efforts. More specifically, the funds will support Wencewicz Lab's efforts to develop new antibiotics to combat antibiotic resistance and improve the organic chemistry curriculum at Washington University in St. Louis.
